Crete

Our island, is the biggest in Greece, and is a very well known destination to everyone around the world. It features many archeological sites, such as ancient Knossos and Festos Cities, many trek and walking places, such as the incredibly beautiful Samaria Gorge, and of course many long, sunny, warm and relaxed beautiful and clean beaches. The island is a famous tourist destination, is only a small amount of time by boat or by plane from the Capital of Greece Athens, and is of course deserved by numerous flights directly from all major European cities.

Location

Our track is situated just outside the city of Heraklion. The place is called Karteros Beach, just 6 Km from the Town Center, and just 3 Km from the Heraklion International Airport!7 Km away is the ancient city of Knossos and 15 Km away are the famous resorts of Cherssonissos, Stalis and Malia. By the track, just 50 metres away is the big, long and beautifull organized beach of Akti. Itself is divided in the Armys beach and the Vasilis Beach. Thre are many Restaurants, Taverns, Bars, Beach Bars, Night Clubs and all the Watersport facilities you can think of as well as a horse riding center, a cross-kart track and a paintball field just next to the track! So nobody will be bored in Heraklion, especially family members friends and girlfriends. For the drivers we hope they will stay on the track and not follow some tourist on the beach! Crowds in a race in Heraklion will be huge, as thousands of tourists are in Crete in the summer, the will want to cheer their respective countrymen!

Hotels

There are thousands of beds available just around the area of the track, as it is a huge tourist area with all kinds of hotels and facilities. From apartment blocks to luxury hotels, all are situated from next, to some hundred meters from the track. We will have the ability to offer special rates for racers and their team members for any international event, even in high season, with ultra-competitve rates!

For your convenience reset the km counter of your car at the starting point. Distances are calculated as accurately as possible. We tried to make the instructions easy to follow and we believe that you should be able to get to the track without problems. The Weather

Of course Greece is famous for its Sunny Weather, and Crete is no exception. From March to November the sun always shines and the temperature fluctuates from 23 to 36 degrees celcius. Rain is quite impossible in the Summer in Crete, you can easily have 3 months of dry weather.
